Lo penoso de la carrera de Márquez es que en realidad solo tuvo 4 oponentes importantes, Mayweather, Bradley, Pacquiao y Barrera. De 4 peleas con Pacquiao solo ganó una, y Barrera lo venció, pero este ya estaba acabado boxisticamente por las secuelas de su carrera, tenía los vasos del cerebro inflamados y lo iban a operar por segunda vez, no era el mismo Barrera que venció al Terrible y a Naseem, y aún así logro ponerlo de rodillas en la lona. Con Mayweather y Bradley no tuvo oportunidad, nunca supo como descifrar la pelea de los boxeadores estilísticos. No entiendo porque esta tan sobrevalorado ¿Solo porque se ponía de frente y salía con sangre de sus peleas? Sí, tenía corazón, tenía show, pero no puedes mitificar a un boxeador por tener una sola gran victoria en su carrera, Márquez de ninguna manera pertenece al mismo estatus de Julio César Chávez o El Finito López.
