#PBCReplay: On April 7, 2018, Erislandy Lara battled Jarrett Hurd in a Fight-of-the-Year candidate Super Welterweight Unification bout, live on SHOWTIME from Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The card also featured a Super Middleweight World Title rematch between Caleb Truax and James Degale as the co-main event.
PBC will replay the entire #LaraHurd televised fight card on Saturday, May 23, 2020, live on the PBC UZones Channel. Watch and comment live at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

What a miss-match! Appears as a bout between a middleweight versus a welterweight. Lara should have gone to the body more often as Hurd proves to belong to a "superior and heavier" classification.

I can't believe the split decision for the Hurd / Lara fight. Hurd was dominant all the way. Lara fought like he was tired. I like both fighters. But, I was surprised by Lara's lackluster performance. Way slower than I'm used to seeing Lara fight.

115-112 Hurd. Lara just wasn't bringing it. He was slow, was not active nor accurate. Hurd didn't look great, his punches barely landed but when nothing is going on you gotta give it to the guy landing something and coming forward. Lara showed his age, lack of good matchmaking and just that PBC lack of motivation they're known for. Easy fight to score. 2nd round was close but I gave it to Lara as he's the recognized champ.

DeGale likes to play by different rules? His butts were his best shots. Along with shoulders, four arms, holding and pushing. A bit cheeky from across the pond sometimes? IMHO the announcer missed all the infractions? The point deduction was definitely warranted. He’d been doing it all night and it’s illegal. Either the announcer doesn’t understands the rules but or...sloppy fight either way.

The only reason the horse didn't win the race is because the winner was faster. C'mon man, you must not know much about Hurd. I've followed him since 2014. Back when he was brought in as an opponent to lose fight after fight, only to beat prospect after prospect. Trust me my brother...I;'m 45+ years in this bitch (pro boxing) and Hurd came up the hard way, This was a hell of a fight. Why not enjoy the fact that 54 has/is on and crackin. and Hurd is major player in the battle for supremacy, But do use weight as an excuse...why doesn't Lara just fight at 47 then?
