For someone who's been through rape at a young age and sexual assault a few times growing up and abuse I started cutting and when it wasn't enough I started drinking and then weed and I let me depression fester and I tried different pills to try and numb my self I stopped my self from keep doing pills but I keept drinking and to the point it became unhealthy at that point I didn't care if I lived or died but my realization was when I was 16 and I cut my wrist and almost died I realized I couldn't live like this I had to try and get help it took almost death for me to help fix my self and I won't say I'm cured because I still have dark thoughts but after having my daughter in 2020 helped me I want to be a role model for her I want to live for her so I started doing things to help my self and what I'm getting at is this song her story has helped me so much I'm really she made a song this deep expecially for people to connect with .
